The Boling Lady Bulldogs and the East Bernard Brahmarettes qualified for the playoffs following District 24-3A play recently.

Down the district stretch
To get to where they were, both BHS and East Bernard needed to get victories.
In the month of April, the victories came more frequently for Boling as it won all of its five district games against Van Vleck, Hitchcock, Danbury, Palacios and Tidehaven. All five were shutouts and accomplished through run-rules.
East Bernard beat Palacios, Tidehaven and Hitchcock, but lost to Van Vleck and Danbury in the district finale.
Both teams are now playing in the Class 3A Region III playoffs.
Boling had a bi-district game scheduled on Thursday, April 25 against Hempstead, which was the third-place team out of District 23-3A. A win secures the Lady Bulldogs an area game against the victor of the Diboll/Kountze game.
EBHS had a bi-district game on April 25 against Coldspring, which was the District 30-3A runner-up.
A win and the Brahmarettes have an area game next week against the winner of the Buna/Woodville game.
District champion Danbury defeated Trinity by a 10-0 score, and will face either Kirbyville or Pollock Central.
Van Vleck played New Waverly.
The bi-district scores for the three games were not available by press time.
