Tiger Fans!

Friday, we battled it out on the field with the Kashmere Rams. We were coming off a tough loss to the Sweeny

Bulldogs last week, but were ready for the chance to compete again this week. This was our third district game. It was a little cold tonight, so plenty bundled up before they headed to the field. Kickoff was at 7 p.m. Thursday night, our sub-varsity team traveled to Houston and came home with a win against the Rams.

Our WHS volleyball teams took on the Royal Falcons on Tuesday night for their final home game of the season.

They have two very tough battles coming up against Needville on Friday and El Campo on Tuesday night for the final regular season game of the year. Our WHS team tennis season came to an end on Tuesday afternoon with a loss to an always tough Fulshear team. They are 2019 area champions, and their winning tradition continues. We are very proud of Coach Roben Eller and her athletes for the great job they continue to do year after year.

Basketball season is right around the corner, and our girls’ team will kick off their season with scrimmages next weekend. We are looking forward to an exciting season from our girls’ and boys’ teams. Head over to our WISD website for

the schedules and other information with WHS athletics.

We hope everyone has a great weekend and be sure to go support our student-athletes every chance you get.

Go Tigers!
