The Boling Lady Bulldogs have produced six wins this season. They will likely earn more than 10 victories once they play a full slate of District 24-3A games this month and February.

The Boling Lady Bulldogs had an unsuccessful time in District 24-3A as they lost to the Hitchcock Lady Bulldogs, 43-24, Friday, Jan. 3.

The loss moves Boling to 1-2 in district play.

So far, BHS has lost to East Bernard, 36-33, and defeated Van Vleck, 59-38.

District play continued on Tuesday, Jan. 7 when the Lady Bulldogs hosted Danbury. At press time, the game result was not available.

Regardless, Boling can’t afford to lose more games if it plans to play in the postseason under second-year coach Jonathan Gibson.

After its game against Danbury, BHS has a bye on Jan. 10. It will then play six consecutive games all the way to Tuesday, Feb. 4 when it has a bye once again.

Boling will play Danbury before the bye away.

Next time BHS plays East Bernard is Tuesday, Jan. 21.

Boling is currently 6-10 on the season, and should improve to .500 or better once the Lady Bulldogs start playing against some of the other district opponents.
