Jack “Bubba” Hough was born on October 1, 1949 in Baytown to John Franklin Hough, Jr. and Clara Kathryn Hough.
Jack graduated from East Bernard High School in 1969. He married Pattie Braden Hough on May 6, 1972 and they were blessed with four boys.
Jack was employed at Duvall Sulfur Plant and Houston Lighting & Power Company. He retired from Centerpoint Energy, formerly, Houston Lighting & Power, September 30, 2014.
Jack was a true sports fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns. He loved the East Bernard Brahmas and had a lifetime membership to the Brahma Booster Club. He coached little league for several years and was also a longtime collector of trading cards, children’s pedal tractors, beer memorabilia and oil cans. He also had a 1963 Mercury Meteor, which was special to him.
Jack died at Oakbend Hospital on June 24 after years of battling numerous health issues. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Ricky Hough and Charlie Hough, and son Shane Hough.
He is survived by his wife Pattie, son Corey and wife Amanda, sons Brady and Cole; brother Randy and wife Lisa. granddaughters Shawna and Kaity Hough and grandsons Tyson and Tate Hough.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday, June 28th after 9 a.m. at Wharton Funeral Home, 515 East Boling Hwy.
Memorial Service to begin at 10 a.m. Interment private.
