Jessie “JD” Farris, 72, of Wharton, born March 1, 1948 to the late Jessie Charles and Robert Lee Farris, departed this life Dec. 28, 2020.

In his honor a visitation was Friday, Jan. 8 from 2-8 p.m. at Matthews Funeral Home. The final farewell service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9 at Mt. Calvary Wharton. He will be laid to rest at Wharton City Cemetery.
