The Wharton Police Department told the Wharton Journal-Spectator it is investigating an incident that occurred last week along Koehl Street.

Wharton police Det. Ariel Soltura said the following:

“On November 20, 2020, on or about 8:46 p.m., the Wharton Police Department was dispatched to a shots fired call in the 600 of Koehl Street. Our investigation determined that a home in the area had been struck with approximately five to six rounds that possibly came from a vehicle. Nobody within the home was injured and the investigation as to who the suspects were, including their motive is on-going.”
