Local fugitive arrested in Galveston

A local man wanted for fleeing a Wharton County District Court proceeding has been arrested in Galveston.

Law enforcement officials said Nehemiah Armstrong, 29, was taken into custody around 11 a.m. Monday by Galveston police and a United States Marshal Task Force. He was found in an apartment complex and was arrested without incident.
