Residents don’t dispute Wharton annexation proposal during first hearing

Posted: Wednesday, June 12, 2019 10:00 pm

There are hundreds of residents who live in Wharton’s extra territorial jurisdiction (ETJ) and of the 15 who came to a recent public hearing on proposed annexation and a Municipal Service Plan (MSP), only one person spoke to elected officials on the matter.
