The following individuals were booked into the Wharton County Jail dating back to Sept. 11. The arrest records available are public information. • William Lorenzo Battles, Jr., 60, of Wharton, was arrested on a burglary of a building felony warrant charge and a felony parole violation charge by the Wharton County Sheriff’s Office at 10:10 a.m., Sept. 11;

• Jayland Ja’Rod Kuykendall, 21, of Wharton, was arrested on a burglary if habitation felony warrant charge and a possession of marijuana under 2 ounces warrant charge by the WCSO at 11:35 a.m., Sept. 12;

• Francisco Javier Ortiz, 18, of Wharton, was arrested on a driving while intoxicated charge by the Wharton Police Department at 1:50 a.m., Sept. 13. He was released Sept. 13;

• Brittney Mea Richards, 30, of Corpus Christi, was arrested on a terroristic threat cause fear of imminent serious bodily injury warrant charge by the Texas Department of Public Safety at 11:30 a.m., Sept. 13;

• Jocelyn Green Sanford, 44, of Wharton, was arrested on an injury child/elderly/disabled with intent to cause bodily injury felony charge by the WCSO at 12:15 a.m., Sept. 15;

• Rene Garcia, 46, of Uvalde, was arrested on a burglary of habitation violation of parole felony warrant charge by the WCSO at 10 a.m., Sept. 15. He was released Sept. 15;

• Shawn Tyler McCain, 26, of East Bernard, was arrested on a burglary of habitation felony warrant charge by the WCSO at 3:14 p.m., Sept. 15;

• Demontre Jaquel Thompson, 21, of Houston, was arrested on a criminal trespass warrant charge by WPD at 8:32 a.m., Sept. 15;

• Christina Trevino Solley, 41, of San Diego, was arrested on a smuggling of persons felony charge by the WCSO at 10:15 a.m., Sept. 16;

• Carlos Ray Waddy, 34, of Wharton, was arrested on a burglary of habitation felony warrant charge by the WCSO at 7:09 p.m., Sept. 16;

• Detodveus Dewayne Lunford, 33, of Wharton, was arrested on an assault family/house member impede breath/circulation felony warrant and a burglary of habitation felony warrant charges by the WCSO at 8:27 p.m., Sept. 19. He was released Sept 19;

• Christopher Michael Quijas, 40, of Wharton, was arrested on a resist arrest search or transport warrant charge by WPD at 9:14 p.m., Sept. 19;

• Justin Ray Breedlove, 38, of College Station, was arrested on an indecency with a child sexual contact felony charge by the WCSO at 6:20 p.m., Sept. 20;

• Mauricio Granados, 24, of El Campo, was arrested on a DWI charge, accident involving damage to vehicle greater than $200 charges by the El Campo Police Department at 8:43 p.m., Sept. 19. He was released Sept. 20;

• Johnny Louis Huerta, 47, of Wharton, was arrested on an obstruction or retaliation felony charge, criminal mischief between $750 and $2,500 charge by the WCSO at 1:31 a.m., Sept. 20;

• Darrell James Williams, Sr., 38, of Wharton, was arrested on a terroristic threat interrupt public place charge by WPD at 10:54 a.m., Sept. 20;

• James Michael Taylor, 26, of Wharton, was arrested on a burglary of habitation felony charge, and a DWI warrant charge by the WCSO at 6:04 pm., Sept. 21.
