Hutyra, Hobbins say their wedding vows at community center

Kimberly Ann Hutyra of Lane City and Travis Wayne Hobbins of Lane City were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008.
Rev. Bob Hobbins officiated at the double-ring ceremony held at the Wharton Community Civic Center.
Kimberly is the daughter of Jimmy and Peggy Hutyra of Wharton. She is the granddaughter of Charlie and Jane Boland, Aline Hutyra and the late Charlie Hutyra.
Travis is the son of James Hobbins of Markham and Cindy Ware of Angleton. He is the grandson of Peggie Hobbins.
The wedding decorations included a metal gazebo with white and brown tulle with tiny lights and bouquets of sunflowers and mixed fall flowers.
Escorted to the altar by her father Jimmy Hutyra, Kimberly wore a formal long gown detailed with glass beading and featured a flowing train. Her tiara was fashioned with crystals and she carried a cascade bridal bouquet of sunflowers, Ambiance roses, Leonitus roses, green hypericum berry, rust mini calla lilies and yellow Oncidrum orchids.
Maid of honor was Jessica Nuspliger of Wharton. Matron of honor was Erin Hobbins of Lane City, sister of the groom. Bridal attendants were Krystal Heckmann and Jayme Engelhardt, both of Beasley and cousins. Junior bridesmaids were Amy Smolik of Cypress, a cousin, and Kristy Hutyra of Wharton, sister of the bride.
Bridal attendants wore long, slender, strapless formal gowns and carried large sunflowers tied with brown silk bows.
Flower girl was Aubrey Matula. Ring bearer was Gunnar Davidek.
Best man was Howard Hobbins of Lane City, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Scott Hobbins of Wharton, cousin of the groom; Bobby Klimple of LaFayette, a cousin; and Dale Rowland of Wharton. Junior groomsman was Hunter Janek of Wharton.
Lighting the unity candle were Peggy Hutyra, mother of the bride, and Cindy Ware, mother of the groom.
A reception, catered dinner and dance were held after the ceremony at the civic center. House party members were Tracy Klimple,
Kim Wittig, Makyla Monroe, Kristen Fitzgerald, Simi Ciruti and Jolie Davidek.
After a wedding trip to Honolulu, Hawaii, the couple will make their home in Lane City.
Kimberly is a 2003 graduate of Wharton High School and is employed at Johnson Enterprise.
Travis is a 1998 graduate of Wharton High School and is employed at R.D.L. Energy.
