Cousins share birthdays at Pooh-themed party held for them Aug. 24

Cousins Rey Martinez, son of Reynaldo Martinez and Crystal Avila, and Daniel Torres, son of Danny Torres Jr. and Michaela Avila, celebrated their second birthdays together on Aug. 24.

A Winnie the Pooh themed party was held in their honor at the home of their grandparents Cat and Melissa Avila.

Hosting their party were their parents and grandparents.

Guests were served hamburgers, hot dogs and sausage with all the trimmings, cake and cokes.

Special guests were grandparents Cat and Melissa Avila, Danny and Tina Torres and Dora and Jose Martinez; greatgrandparents, Felipe and Lupe Castro of Sweeny and Thomas and Mary Garcia of Wharton; great-great-grandmother Mickey Cerrillo; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

Guests were entertained with a Ferris wheel and water slide.

Rey and Daniel received lots of clothes, money and toys from their guests. Rey received a special gift of a red Dodge Viper Power Wheels car from his godparents, Ted Gonzales and Katrina Castro and his parents.
