Nunez, Neal recite their wedding vows here on Aug. 23

Elizabeth Ann Nunez of Rosenberg and Keith C. Neal of Rosenberg were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008.

Rev. Joel Salinas Jr. officiated at the double-ring ceremony held at the Wharton Community Civic Center.

Elizabeth is the daughter of Gary and Rosie Nunez of Wharton. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Nunez Sr. of Kingwood and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ruiz of Brady.

Keith is the son of James and Juanita Heard of Rosenberg.

The community center was decorated in navy blue and ivory with silver accents.

Elizabeth was escorted to the altar by her grandfather George Nunez Sr. and father Gary Nunez. She chose a strapless ivory gown with a soft sweetheart neckline in front and back outlining the delicate silk organza ruching. It featured detailed embroidery and beadwork adorned the bodice and lined the hem. Swarovski crystal buttons were applied to the entire length of the chapel-length train. She carried a bridal bouquet of red, pink and ivory roses with greenery and babies breath tied with blue and silver accent ribbon.

Maid of honor was Amanda Nunez of San Marcos, sister of the bride. Bridal attendants included Laura Nunez of Wharton, sister of the bride; Adrianna Gutierrez of Rosenberg; Chastiny Neal of Rosenberg, sister of the groom; and Candice Heard of Rosenberg, sister of the groom.

Bridal attendants wore navy blue cocktail-length dresses with scooped halter necklines. Their dresses featured soft pleats that met at the shirred midriffs with waist sashes and flared A-line skirts.

Flower girl was Alyssa Mayberry. Ring bearer was Jarron Nunez, son of the bride and groom.

Best man was Marcus Neal of Rosenberg, cousin of the groorn. Groomsmen were Derek Lowery of Stafford, Derrian Jones of Rosenberg, Eric Dancy of Rosenberg and Brandon Alaniz of Rosenberg.

Ushers were Jarron Nunez of Rosenberg and Dylan Neal of Rosenberg, nephew of the groom.

A reception, dinner and dance were held at Wharton Communtiy Civic Center.

After a wedding trip to Las Vegas, the couple will reside in Rosenberg.

Elizabeth is a 2001 graduate of Wharton High School. She is employed at the Richmond Police

Department.

Keith is a 2001 graduate of Elkins High School. He is employed at Frito Lay.
