Breaking ground
City officials, area doctors and Regency Nursing officials ceremonially break ground on the new Wharton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Located at the end of Sunny Lane, the facility will replace the current Rusk Street location and will offer 120 beds, with 30 for skilled nursing. It will employ 100 to 120 employees.
