Texas gains 8,700 jobs
      Texas' seasonally adjusted nonagricultural employment grew by 8,700 jobs in May. Texas employers now have added 238,700 jobs in the past 12 months for an annual job growth rate of 2.3 percent, compared with a 0.2 percent annual job growth rate nationally.
