Burglary, theft charges

Chad Watson, 36, 803 1/2 Depot, El Campo, was booked into Wharton County Jail at 8 a.m. June 12 for unlawful use of a motor vehicle and theft. He was held on $7,500 bond as of 12:30 p.m. June 12.

Juan M. Garza, 41, 203 Kings Road, Wharton, was booked at 1:30 a.m. June 12 for burglary of a habitation. He was held on $500 bond as of 12:30 p.m. June 12.

Terry S. Stahl, 32, 2551 S. Loop 35, Alvin, was booked at 12:10 p.m. June 11 for two counts of theft by check and eight counts of issuing a bad check. He was released at 4:10 p.m. June 11 on $5,500 bond.

Alcohol, drug charges

Jacob C. Goodrich, 29, 10910 West Road, Houston, was booked on June 11 for possession of marijuana (conviction). He was held as of 12:30 p.m. June 12.

Carly A. Cook, 23, 90 Pierce Ranch Road, Pierce, was booked on June 11 for driving while intoxicated and no driver's license. She was held on $3,000 bond as of 12:30 p.m. June 12.

Gwendolyn N. Robles, 28, 1420 Ave. E, Bay City, was booked at 7 a.m. June 11 for driving while intoxicated. She was released at 10:25 a.m. June 11 on $1,500 bond.

Beth Ann Edwards, 26, 210 S. East Ave., Wharton, was booked on June 11 for possession of marijuana. She was released at 10:55 a.m. June 11 on $500 bond.

Assault charges

Richard Terence Teets, 48, of El Campo, was booked on June 10 for aggravated assault of a public servant, resisting arrest with a deadly weapon and assault-family violence. He was held on $625,000 in bond as of 12:30 p.m. June 12.

Other charges

Joe Quintana, 57, 1310 Lynner, El Campo, was booked at 8 a.m. June 12 for capias pro fines and expired driver's license. He was held as of 12:30 p.m. June 12.

Robert Nathaniel Byrd, 20, 318 Hamilton, Wharton, was booked at 7:15 p.m. June 10 for failure to appear, no driver's license and failure to stop at designated point. He was held on $1,500 bond as of 12:30 p.m. June 12.

Calvin Fuller, 25, of Houston, was booked at 3:30 p.m. June 10 on a bench warrant. He was held without bond as of 12:30 p.m. June 12.
