Jose T. Ramos, 34, 407 Watt, El Campo, was booked at 10:04 p.m. May 31 for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication. He was released at 10:20 a.m. June 2 on $3,500 bond.

Antonio Ochoa Guerrero, 34, 83 Third, Cleveland, Ohio, was booked May 31 for driving while intoxicated. He was released at 1:22 p.m. June 1 on $2,500 bond.

Gilbert Martinez, 29, 1303 E. Colorado, Victoria, was booked at 8:11 p.m. May 29 on a warrant for open container and probation violation. He was held on $30,000 bond as of 12:30 p.m. June 2.

Roberto Escobar, 37, 2005 Austin, Donna, was booked May 29 for possession of a controlled substance, tampering with a governmental record, fraudulent use/possession of identifying information and probation violation. He was held on $100,500 bond as of 12:30 p.m. June 2.

Assault charges

Simon R. Alcalar, 18, 1113 CR 449, Wharton, was booked May 31 for assault-family violence. He was held as of 12:30 p.m. June 2.

Burglary, theft charges

Wesley G. Holmes, 66, 2929 Creek Bend, Wharton, was booked at 11:10 a.m. June 2 on a warrant for theft. He was held on $10,000 bond as of 12:30 p.m. June 2.

Abraham Sanchez, 29, 576 River Ranch, Victoria, was booked at 8:11 p.m. May 29 for burglary of a habitation. He was held on $2,500 bond as of 12:30 p.m. June 2.

Kenneth Johse Jr., 25, 608 Speed, Wharton, was booked at 7:38 p.m. May 29 for theft, criminal mischief and public intoxication. He was released at 11:30 a.m. May 30 on $3,500 bond.

Other charges

Jordan W. Jahns, 19, 11024 Hwy. 71, El Campo, was booked June 1 for bond forfeiture. He was held on $10,000 bond as of 12:30 p.m. June 2.

Joseph Harold Williams, 54, 806 E. Emily No. 1, Wharton, was booked on May 31 for criminal trespass. He was held on $2,500 bond as of 12:30 p.m. June 2.

Linda Scales, 25, 1524 Connie, Wharton, was booked at 4:40 p.m. May 29 for bond forfeiture, expired registration, failure to maintain financial responsibility, expired motor vehicle inspection and no driver's license. She was held on $7,000 bond as of 12:30 p.m. June 2.

Robert W. Thompson, 45, 118 Celia, Corpus Christi, was booked at 4 p.m. May 29 for probation violation, driving while license invalid and two counts of bond forfeiture. He was held on $10,000 bond as of 12:30 p.m. June 2.

Joseph Schmidtke, 29, 520 Texas, Wharton, was booked at 12:49 p.m. May 29 for capias pro fines. He was released at 2:50 p.m. May 29 on $233 in fines.

Adam Flores, 35, 3504 Fourth, Bay City, was booked at 12:30 p.m. May 29 for contempt of court. He was held on $2,500 bond as of 12:30 p.m. June 2.
