Mack Reynolds

Graveside services for Mack Reynolds Jr., age 85, of Wharton, were held Monday at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with Wayne Allen officiating.

Mr. Reynolds died May 30, 2008 at his home following an extended illness. He was born on June 12, 1922 in Whitt, the son of the late William Maxie Reynolds and Velma Threet Reynolds.

He was reared in the Whitt area and attended school there. He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Reynolds married Pauline Louise Krehbiel on April 17, 1943 in Graham. He has resided in Wharton for more than 30 years and was a former resident of San Juan. He worked as a ranch foreman on the Morris Ranch for many years and was also a welder by trade.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Reynolds was also preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth McKinney and Betty Reynolds; and brothers, Bill Reynolds and Donald Reynolds.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Pauline Reynolds of Wharton; son and daughterin law, Sidney and Paula Reynolds of Santa Rosa; and sister, Merlene McQueen of Rowlett; one grandson and twin greatgranddaughters.
