      EAST BERNARD - East Bernard's softball team will be on an uncharted island in Austin Thursday, playing in the UIL Class 2A State Softball Tournament at McComb's Field on the University of Texas campus.

      VICTORIA - East Bernard pitcher Courtney Repka and her teammates played shut out softball and it earned the Brahmarettes a trip to this year's UIL Class 2A State Softball Tournament. East Bernard will now play Big Sandy at 4:30 p.m. in Thursday's second Class 2A state semifinal game.
