Burglaries, thefts

Theft - Three incidents reported at Wal-Mart, 1255 South U.S. 59, Wharton, between 2:40 p.m. and 2:43 p.m. May 13. Cleared by arrest.

Burglary of a habitation - Reported in the 200 block of Correll Avenue, Wharton, at 1:43 p.m. May 10. Rifles were reported stolen.

Theft - Reported in the 200 block of Mahan, Wharton, between 7 p.m. May 8 and 8 a.m. May 9. A weedeater, leaf blower and chain saw valued at $424 were reported stolen.

Assaults

Class A assault - Reported in the 400 block of South Sheppard Street, Wharton, at 7:30 a.m. May 12.

Class A assault - Reported at Chili's, 1265 South U.S. 59, Wharton, at 9:40 p.m. May 11. Administratively cleared.

Class C assault - Reported at the In & Out Mini Mart, 1125 W. Spanish Camp Road, Wharton, between 7:25 p.m. and 7:26 p.m. May 11. Cleared and filed in Municipal Court.

Class A assault - Reported in the 100 block of South Sheppard Street, Wharton, at 11 p.m. May 10.

Class A assault - Reported at the In & Out Mini Mart, 1125 W. Spanish Camp Road, Wharton, at 11:10 p.m. May 10.

Class A assault - Reported in the 200 block of East Burleson Street, Wharton, at 1 a.m. May 10. A warrant was issued.

Criminal Mischief

Criminal mischief - Reported in the 1200 block of Kingston Drive, Wharton, between 11:30 a.m. and 12:10 p.m. May 12. A 1999 Chevy Suburban was reportedly damaged.

Criminal mischief - Reported at the Wilkes Apartments, 618 N. Wilkes St., Wharton, at 11:45 p.m. May 11. A window valued at $100 was reportedly damaged.

Criminal mischief - Reported in the 300 block of South Sheppard Street, Wharton, between 2:55 a.m. and 2:58 a.m. May 11. A 1999 Ford pickup was reportedly damaged.

Criminal mischief - Reported in the 400 block of East Caney Street, Wharton, between 7 p.m. May 10 and 7 a.m. May 11. A 2002 Chevy Cavalier was reportedly damaged.

Criminal mischief - Reported in the 400 block of South Sheppard Street, Wharton, between 8:25 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. May 10. A 2001 Chevy was reportedly damaged.

Criminal mischief - Reported in the 1500 block of Crestmont, Wharton, between 3:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. May 9. A Ford F250 pickup was reportedly damaged.

Criminal mischief - Reported in the 800 block of Olive Street, Wharton, between 10 p.m. May 8 and 6 a.m. May 9. A Ford F350 was reportedly damaged.
