Sally Phillips

Funeral services for Sally Mangum Phillips, 52, of Bay City, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at New Mount Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmie Wright officiating. Mrs. Phillips died May 12, 2008 at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital. She was born to the parentage of Mack and Dorothy Brown Mangum May 21,1955 in Wharton. She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith.

Survivors include mother, Dorothy Mangum of Wharton; daughters, Faylicia and Larolyn Mangum of Bay City; brothers, Curtis Mangum of Sugar Land and Calvin Johnson of Houston; sisters, Ruby Allen Harris of Phoenix, Ariz., and Joyce Walker of Houston; and six grandchildren.

Her father, Mack, and brother Henry Lee Goode preceded her in death.
