Joseph Adams

Funeral services for Joseph Adams Jr., 72, of Schulenburg and formerly of Wharton, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James Baptist Church in Schulenburg. Burial will follow in Weimar.

Mr. Adams died May 8, 2008 at Rosenberg Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born Oct. 25, 1935 in Weimar to the late Joseph and Marzella Hamilton Adams Sr.

Survivors include sons, Kenneth Ray and Gerald Adams, both of Houston, and Burnell and Maurice Neal, both of Wharton; daughters, Princess Jimmerson of Katy, Gloria Neal Heard of Wharton, Juanita Heard of Rosenberg and Lou Alice Phillips of Houston; and many grandchildren.
