Garden tour ends this weekend

The fourth annual Wharton Hidden Garden Tour ends this Sunday.

Gardens on the tour will be open for visits from 2 to 5 p.m. each day at a cost of $10 for adults and $5 for children under age 12.

Advanced tickets are on sale at Wharton Chamber of Commerce, Wharton County Historical Museum, Charles Chambers State Farm Office and all local banks.

Gardens featured on the tour include: Coi and Guy Guttenberger's tropical pool garden at 331 Lazy Lane (park and enter from Milburn Street side); Maureen and David Voulgaris' country garden at 1600 E. Boling Highway; Pat and Doc Blakely's ranch/country garden at 2639 CR 154; Becky Smith and Suzanne Dworsky's country garden at 662 Mesquite Hills outside of Hungerford; and Avalon Place Nursing Home's prayer garden at 1405 Val Halla Drive.
