David Orozco-Padilla, 18, 1415 E. Jackson, El Campo, was booked May 1 for possession of marijuana and a warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was held on $152,000 in bond as of 1 p.m. May 5.

Diana Briano-Davila, 20, 203 Orange, Louise, was booked May 1 for possession of marijuana, no insurance, no driver's license and hindering apprehension. She was released at 3:25 p.m. May 2 on $8,000 bond.

Burglary, theft charges

Kimberly Earley, 35, 210 Rogers, Ganado, was booked at 8:15 a.m. May 5 on a warrant for theft by check. She was released at 10:30 a.m. May 5 on $2,000 bond.

Shonna Lynn Wittman, 29, 220 Palomar, El Campo, was booked May 2 for unlawful use of a motor vehicle and forgery of a financial instrument. She was held on $20,000 bond as of 1 p.m. May 5.

Rudy Ruben Bosquez, 30, 420 E. Wayside, Wharton, was booked May 2 on a warrant for burglary of a motor vehicle. He was held on $2,500 bond as of 1 p.m. May 5.

Anthony Joe Romo, 22, 111 Texas 60 South, Lane City, was booked May 3 for burglary of a motor vehicle. He was held on $2,500 bond as of 1 p.m. May 5.

Tristain Lynn Johnson, 26, 4063 CR 269, Eagle Lake, was booked at 12:25 p.m. May 1 for a theft by check warrant and failure to appear. He was held on $2,000 bond as of 1 p.m. May 1.

Assault charges

Mario Evett Garcia, 25, 620 Doris, El Campo, was booked May 3 for assault-family violence and capias pro fines. He was held on $2,500 bond as of 1 p.m. May 5.

David Ruiz Leon, 51, 1423 Flora, El Campo, was booked May 2 for assault-family violence. He was released at 11:10 a.m. May 3 on $2,500 bond.

Jerimiah Amos Rincon, 18, 405 Oscar, El Campo, was booked May 2 on warrants for sexual assault and probation violation. He was held without bond as of 1 p.m. May 5.

Darrell Edwards, 44, 9319 Anna, Needville, was booked at 1:42 p.m. May 1 on warrants for assault-family violence. He was released at 2:25 p.m. May 1 on $3,000 bond.
