Chamber refers customers to member businesses

One of the many direct benefits of chamber membership is sending potential business to our members.

It is through our referral program.

When we receive inquiries from people in our area about how to obtain goods and services, we always refer them to chamber members.

It is a real benefit of chamber membership.

Since the beginning of March, for instance, we have made more than 65 referrals.

We think that is pretty good!

We are the go-to place for information about how to do business in our town.

Why do we refer only members? The Wharton Chamber of

Commerce is a memberdriven organization.

When you apply and are accepted for membership, our board certifies that you are a reputable business, thus worthy of our recommendation. It just make sense.

(We also have non-membership driven duties - tourism and convention promotion - under contract with the city.)
