Hall, Gertson wed in College Station event

Lindy Nicole Hall of College Station and Timothy Neil Gertson of Canyon were united in marriage at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2008.
Rev. Michael Holcomb officiated at the double-ring ceremony held at Christ United Methodist Church in College Station.
Lindy is the daughter of Billy and Kim Hall of Waxahachie. She is the granddaughter of Dale and Jo Nita Kaulfus of Temple and Jerry Ann Hall of Santa Fe.
Timothy is the son of Ronald and Patsy Gertson of East Bernard. He is the grandson of Johnnie and Martha Viktorin of East Bernard and Dan and Maryan Gertson of Lissie.
The altar of the church was flanked with arrangements of vendela roses, lavender roses, delphinium, waxflowers, lemon leaves, white lilies, flat ferns and tree ferns. The center aisle featured floral arrangements on pedestals.
Pianist for the event was Sharon Jernigan and vocalists were Amanda Caldwell and Ryan Ransom. Musical selections included The Lord's Prayer, My Prayer, Clair de Lune by Debussy, Canon in D by Pachelbel, Wedding Processional by Rogers and Postlude in Classical Style by Young.
Escorted to the altar by her father, Billy Hall, Lindy wore an ivory strapless gown of soft lace designed by Mon Cheri. The bodice, trimmed with lace appliques and pearls, flowed to an A-line front skirt. The back skirt flared to a circular chapel-length train. She wore an ivory chapel-length Belaire veil. Lindy carried a bridal bouquet of ivory ranunculus, light blue hydrangea, scabiosa, hyacinth, lavender spray roses and pittosporum.
Maid of honor was Emily Hall of Waxahachie, sister of the bride. Attendants were Candice Gardiner of Tallahassee, Fla., Sara Skeen of Acworth, Ga., Stephanie Gertson and Renee Gertson, both of East Bernard and sisters of the groom.
Bridal attendants wore Ann Taylor Celebrations Pacific blue dresses of cross-dyed silk dupioni in a classic A-line design with inset empire waistbands and attached self-fabric sashes. Each carried a bouquet of cream vendela roses, dark purple stock, hyacinth, lavender spray roses and pittosporum.
Junior bridesmaid Kendall Kaulfus, cousin of the bride of Spring, carried a pomander with cream and lavender spray roses.
Best man was Daniel Gertson of Richmond, cousin of the groom. Groomsmen were Christopher Gertson of East Bernard, cousin of the groom; Rawley Farrell of East Bernard; Craig Birkenfeld of Dallas; and Michael Bennett of Salida, Colo.
Ushers were Daryl Pruitt of Houston, Neil Pruitt of East Bernard and Adam Kramr of Lissie, all cousins of the groom; Ryan Willliams of College Station, Brandon Enderle of College Station and Benjamin Webster of Dallas.
Readers were Chelsea Seal of Altamonte Springs, Fla., and Matthew Wicke, a cousin of Pearland.
A reception, dinner and dance were held at the Astin Mansion in Bryan.
After a wedding trip to St. Lucia in the Caribbean, the couple will make their home in Canyon.
Lindy is a 2007 graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor's degree in biomedical science. She plans to pursue a nursing degree at West Texas A&M in Canyon. Lindy will be performing in the outdoor musical drama Texas in Palo Duro Canyon this summer.
Timothy is a 2007 graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor's degree in agricultural engineering. He is employed as a plant engineer with Panda Ethanol in Hereford.
