Dawson Elementary choirs win awards at Blinn music festival

On March 30 the Dawson Elementary School Choirs traveled to Brenham to participate in the Blinn College Music Festival.

The Ambassadors show choir received a 1 rating, the Boys Choir received a 2 rating, the Girls Choir received a 1 rating, and the Mixed Choir received a 1 rating for their performances.

Last week, the school was notified by the festival promoters that the Mixed Choir had been voted to receive the Most Outstanding Choir award at the contest.
