Victor Rendon-Aguilar, 30, 408 Rorem, Palacios, was booked at 5:56 a.m. April 13 for driving while intoxicated. He was released at 1:25 p.m. April 13 on $2,000 bond.

Benito Morales Mendez, 23, 146 Greendale, Wharton, was booked at 9:36 p.m. April 12 for possession of a controlled substance and driving while intoxicated (open container). He was held on $12,000 bond as of 12 p.m. April 14.

Wallace Wiggins, 59, 817 David, Wharton, was booked at 2:45 a.m. April 11 for driving while intoxicated. He was released at 8:25 a.m. April 12 on $2,000 bond.

Juan Humberto Cantu Jr., 30, 2508 N. Fulton, Wharton, was booked at 10:12 p.m. April 11 for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held on $500 bond as of 12 p.m. April 14.

Charles Anthony Thomas, 53, 404 Forest, Wharton, was booked at 10:55 p.m. April 10 for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. He was held on $31,500 bond as of 12 p.m. April 14.

Roberto Gaona, 24, 88 Ebony, Sullivan City, was booked at 3:01 p.m. April 10 for possession of marijuana. He was held on $350,000 bond as of 12 p.m. April 14.

Burglary, theft charges

Amanda Barron, 19, 1717 Briar Lane, Wharton, was booked at 10:35 a.m. April 11 on a warrant for theft by check. She was released at 11:05 a.m. April 11 on $900 bond.

Assault charges

Jared Mihalitc, 30, 1804 Briar Lane, Wharton, was booked at 9:57 p.m. April 12 for assault-family violence. He was released at 10:10 a.m. April 13 on $2,500 bond.

Wesley Wright, 22, 527 W. Milam, Wharton, was booked April 11 on a warrant for assault causing seriously bodily injury. He was released at 2:05 p.m. April 11 on $2,500 bond.

Terrance Earls, 42, 7218 Ave. D, Beasley, was booked at 12:25 a.m. April 11 on warrants for theft and burglary of a habitation. He was released to Colorado County Sheriff's Department at 11 a.m. April 14.

Other charges

Jermaine Middleton, 22, 505 N. Spanish Camp, Wharton, was booked at 9:48 p.m. April 13 for resisting arrest and public intoxication. He was held on $2,500 bond as of 12 p.m. April 14.

Jose Rendon Aguilar, 30, 408 Rorem, Palacios, was booked at 6:53 a.m. April 13 for resisting arrest and public intoxication. He was released at 1:15 p.m. April 13 on $2,500 bond.

Boutarfa Lagha, 44, 1125 W. Spanish Camp, Wharton, was booked at 2:47 p.m. April 12 for evading arrest and capias pro fines. He was released at 12:10 p.m. April 13 on $2,000 bond.

Clinton Wallace, 32, 413 Lakeshore, Wharton, was booked at 7:27 p.m. April 10 for capias pro fines and nonpayment of child support. He was released at 5:35 p.m. April 11 on $2,000 bond.
