Crimes reported to local law enforcement agencies

Burglaries, thefts

Burglary of a habitation - Two incidents reported at Kingston Apartments, 1311 Kingston Drive, Wharton, at 11:20 p.m. April 12.

Theft - Reported at Wharton Feed & Supply, 1105 N. Fulton St., Wharton, between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. April 12. A spare tire and rim valued at $200 were reported stolen.

Burglary of a building - Reported in the 800 block of Walnut Street, Wharton, between 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. April 10. Power tools valued at $1,404 were reported stolen.

Theft - Reported at Smart Styles, 1255 U.S. 59 South, Wharton, between 2 p.m. April 9 and 11 a.m. April 10.

Burglary of a vehicle - Reported in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue, Wharton, between 1 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. April 9. A car stereo valued at $400 was reported stolen.

Burglary of a vehicle - Reported in the 900 block of West Spanish Camp Road, Wharton, between 5:30 p.m. April 6 and 1 p.m. April 8. A weedeater and leaf blower valued at $390 were reported stolen.

Theft - Reported on FM 2817 in Boling between 1 p.m. April 6 and 5:45 p.m. April 7. A goat valued at $175 was reported stolen.

Burglary of a vehicle - Reported in the 9100 block of Texas 60, East Bernard, between 8 a.m. and 8:25 a.m. April 5. A wallet and $900 in currency was reported stolen.

Burglary of a habitation - Reported in the 7600 block of Habermacher, Hungerford, between 1:21 p.m. and 1:32 p.m. April 4.

Burglary of a building - Reported in the 200 block of Texas Avenue, Boling, between 9:30 p.m. April 3 and 7:30 a.m. April 4. A window valued at $700 was reported broken.

Assaults

Class A assault - Reported in the 1800 block of Briar Lane, Wharton, at 9:30 p.m. April 12. Cleared by arrest.

Class A assault - Reported in the 400 block of Hamilton St., Wharton, between 9:40 a.m. and 9:44 a.m. April 10.

Class C assault - Reported on CR 106 in Newgulf between 2 p.m. and 2:35 p.m. April 5.

Criminal mischief

Criminal mischief - Reported at Briar Pointe Apartments, 1717 Briar Lane, Wharton, between 5:45 p.m. and 11:28 p.m. April 10. A 2001 Chevrolet Silverado was reportedly damaged.

Criminal mischief - Reported at the Wharton Girls Softball Field, 221 W. Park, Wharton, between 8 p.m. and 9:09 p.m. April 8.

Criminal mischief - Reported in the 800 block of Clubside Drive, East Bernard, between 9:30 p.m. April 7 and 7 a.m. April 8. Traffic signs were reportedly damaged by grafitti.
