Mary Irvin

Mary Louise Irvin, widow of Reginald Terrell Irvin, of San Antonio, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 in San Antonio, at the age of 86 years.

She was born in Waelder, to Ernest and Maria Anna Friedel Koenig on Jan. 12, 1922.

Mrs. Irvin was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Lockhart Chapter No. 210.

Surviving her are daughters, Patricia Smith and husband, Randy, of Cary, N.C.; Mary Ann Wisian and husband, Bobby of San Marcos; sons, Robert Broussard of Victoria; Wesley Irvin and wife, Renee of San Antonio; step-son, Gilbert Irvin of Dallas; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; sister, Mayme "Skeeter" Powers, of Oakland, Calif.; and brothers, Harold Koenig of Brenham; Jack Koenig of Wharton and Robert Koenig of Victoria.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Reginald Terrell Irvin; grandson, David Broussard; and five brothers.

The family received friends Saturday, April 12, 2008, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Finch Chapel in Stockdale.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2008 at Finch Funeral Chapel. Interment followed at Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Pastor Tom Summers officiated the services.
