Fun Run will kick off WCYF

Wharton County started a new tradition last year to kick off the Wharton County Youth Fair. It is called the Cowboy Cruisin' 5K Fun Run.

The WCYF Board of Directors announces they will host the second annual Cowboy Cruisin' 5K Fun Run on Saturday, April 26.

All proceeds are to benefit the Fair Improvement Fund.

In addition to the Fun Run, a post race event has been added to the day's festivities. This year a new and shorter path for the participants 12 and under will be available as well. Entry fees are the same. It's $25 for adults and $15 for children.
