LUKOSE
Dr. Biju Lukose is now seeing patients in his new office adjacent to Gulf Coast Medical Center.

Dr. Lukose joined the Gulf Coast medical staff earlier this year and has established his permanent office space at 2022 Regional Medical Drive, Suite 1319, near the Gulf Coast Medical Center Emer- gency Department entrance.

"We're happy to have Dr. Lukose settled and able to see patients in his new office," said Jack Julius, Interim Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Coast Medical Center.

Dr. Lukose has been seeing patients in the hospital and in temporary outpatient space for the past couple of months.

"I'm so pleased to be able to provide a nice setting to welcome my patients," said Dr. Lukose.

"I feel very fortunate to be a part of the Wharton medical community, and I look forward to establishing a long-term relationship with patients and referring physicians in the area."

Dr. Lukose received his medical degree from the University of Calicut in India.

He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Connecticut.

Lukose has a particular interest in minimally invasive surgery and received five months additional training in this area from the University of Texas in Houston.

While in Houston, he also served as a clinical instructor to UT residents.

Dr. Lukose is certified by the American Board of Surgery.

He lives in Wharton with his wife and their 1-year-old daughter.
