Brahmarettes sweep

East Bernard's softball team extended its second place ownership in the District 27- 2A standings Tuesday night by sweeping Hitchcock in a doubleheader by 15-0 and 13-0 scores.

The Brahmarettes improved to 7-2 and now own a two-game lead in the standings over Van Vleck, which swept Yes College Prep by scores of 10-0 and 12-0 to improve to 5-4.

EB played rival Brazos on Friday and has an open date next Tuesday.

League-leading Danbury beat Boling twice to raise their record to 8-0. The Lady Bulldogs slipped to 4-4 and hosted the Wizards last night.
