Burglaries, thefts

Burglary of a vehicle - Reported in the 800 block of Koehl Street, Wharton, between 9:45 p.m. April 1 and 10:28 a.m. April 2. A car stereo valued at $300 was reported stolen.

Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle - Reported at Wharton County Junior College, 911 E. Boling Highway, Wharton, between 12 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. March 31. A 1984 Ford F250 was reported stolen.

Burglary of a vehicle - Reported in the 800 block of David Street, Wharton, between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. March 19. A laptop computer, microphone and backpack valued at $1,175 were reported stolen.

Assaults

Class A assault - Reported in the 1400 block of Kingston Drive, Wharton, at 10:47 p.m. April 2. Cleared by arrest.

Class A assault - Reported in the 1300 block of Bailey Street, Wharton, at 12:55 p.m. March 30.

Class A assault - Reported at River Bend Apartments, 2500 Junior College Blvd., Wharton, at 2:31 p.m. March 30. Cleared by arrest.

Criminal mischief

Criminal mischief - Reported in the 500 block of East Alabama Street, Wharton, between 1:25 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. March 30.

Criminal mischief - Reported at Hinze's Barbecue, 3940 U.S. 59 North, Wharton, between 9:10 a.m. and 9:20 a.m. March 29. A 2003 Ford van was reported damaged.
