Cattle industry holds meetings

Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, Texas Cattle Feeders Association and the Texas Beef Council are joining forces in a series of beef industry meetings across the state to update producers on the current cattle industry, including a meeting April 21 at the Wharton Livestock Auction.

Producers will have the opportunity to hear presentations by key representatives from each industry organization and learn about current issues facing the beef industry. They will also have an opportunity to ask questions and engage in conversations with industry leaders.

"Besides informing producers

about what's going on currently in the beef industry, another of our reasons for having these meetings is to get out and hear what producers have to say," says TSCRA Executive Vice President and CEO, Eldon White. "We value their experience, especially with everything our industry is facing today, and we're here to listen."

Producers do not have to be a member of any industry organization or association to attend.

To register to attend a meeting in your area, please contact Stacy Fox at TSCRA, 800-242- 7820 ext. 192, or by email at meetingrsvp@texascattleraisers. org.
