Learning the ropes
Sivells Elementary School student Esmeralda Montez navigates through a series of cones with the ease of an expert during a bicycle rodeo held at the school on Friday. The 11th annual event helped kids learn laws and safety tips associated with riding a bicycle. Organizer Lisa Freese said the kids even take a written test in addition to the practical riding lessons. Top finishers received trophies.
