Choir students perform at Magic Kingdom

Students of the Dawson Elementary School Ambassadors Show Choir recently returned from a performance in Disney World, Fla. The fifth and sixth grade group was invited to present a concert on the Galaxy Palace Theatre stage in Magic Kingdom on Feb. 23. The students had a wonderful time visiting Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and the Magic Kingdom.

Members of the group include Jesse Aguilar, Carly Albert, Savanna Bijarro, Rachel Billings, Katie Camacho, Brianna Castillo, Maggie Cheatham, Jekierah Coleman, Amanda Compian, Savanah Coston, Reena Cruz, Ashley Darnell, Meredith Faix, Matthew Garcia, Ruben Garza, Angel Granado, Erlicia Griffith, Heather Grissom, Riley Hamilton, Kylie Hardy, Ryan Hayes, Libby Hinze, Wyatt Hinze, Tristan Houston, Bailey Huddleston, Jessica Hurst, Haley Jetelina, Madison Knezek, Hailee Koenig, T. J. Kowalik, Dakota Kubecka, Isaiah Lynch, Andrea Machann, Kristian Martin, Tori McPherson, Ashlyn Miller, Katie Olson, Evans Ousley, Megan Peikert, Sophia Perez, Michaela Rainer, Allie Rath, Ross Raybon, Holli Reynolds, Alexis Rincon, Emma Roddy, Victoria Sanford, Alexis Sherrod, Jake Silva, Baylie Snyder, Sydney Stolle, Bailey Svatek, Jessica Volek and Tenadra Wilson.

The choir is under the direction of Kay Bollom. A total of 93 parents/sponsors and students completed the trip sponsored by the Wharton Independent School District.
