Tiger JV splits district games over Spring Break

Wharton's junior varsity baseball team split it's two games over Spring Break.

The Tigers beat Columbus16- 8 last Tuesday and dropped a 8-1 decision to Needville last Thursday.

O.J. Esquivel picked up the win on the mound in Columbus and Justin Sherrill added a three-run home run to left field to put away the Cardinals.

In the loss to Needville freshman pitcher David Zaskoda went six innings.

He gave up 3 runs on 3 hits.
