Walter Bielefeldt

Funeral services for Rev. Walter Bielefeldt, 94, were held March 10 at Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. Jerome Teichmiller officiating. Burial followed in Klein Memorial Park Cemetery.

Rev. Bielefeldt died March 6, 2008. He has served as pastor at Trinity Lutheran-Borger, St. Paul Lutheran-Wallis, Immanuel Lutheran-Clifton, Zion Lutheran-Walburg, Zion Lutheran Pasadena and St. John Lutheran-Wharton.

He was preceded in death by his wife Paula Bielefeldt on Feb. 20, 1994.

He is survived by his children and their spouses: Margaret and Gus Jacob, Walter and Angie Bielefeldt Jr., Beth and Victor Lorenz, James Bielefeldt, Paula Bielefeldt, Mary and LaRue AveLallemant, Lois and Ronald Boerger; 15 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
