Alcohol, drug charges

Nicole Michele Harrell, 32, 406- B Mockingbird, El Campo, was booked into Wharton County Jail at 12:44 a.m. March 6 for possession of marijuana in a drug-free zone. She was held on $5,000 bond.

Juan Ramon Godoy, 50, of Pharr, was booked at 9:39 a.m. March 5 for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and no driver's license. He was released on $4,500 bond.

Burglary, theft charges

Joseu Terrazas, 24, 201 S. Washington, El Campo, was booked at 6:06 p.m. March 5 on warrants for theft by check. He was held on $1,200 bond.

Karina Ramirez, 30, 1002 S. Liberty, El Campo, was booked at 3:09 p.m. March 4 for theft of property and three convictions for theft of property. She was held without bond as of 12:30 p.m. March 6.

Robert Escamilla, 55, 211 August, El Campo, was booked at 7:10 a.m. March 4 on warrants for theft by check, expired driver's license, speeding and capias pro fines. He was released at 2:30 p.m. that day on $3,000 bond.

Oscar Ramos, 24, 3704 1/2 E. Forest, Victoria, was booked March 3 for theft. He was released March 4 on $2,500 bond.

Assault charges

Daren Leo Roberts Jr., 22, 1510 Barfield No. 12, Wharton, was booked on March 3 for assault. He was released that day on $3,000 bond.

Other charges

Howard Oneal, 49, Route 1 Box 142, Boling, was booked March 6 on a motion to revoke probation.

Cheryl Ann Mobley, 26, 46 Serena Drive, El Campo, was booked on March 5 on two counts of failure to appear, issuing a bad check and warrants for speeding, failure to maintain financial responsibility and permitting an unlicensed driver to drive. She was held on $3,000 bond.

Gilbert Ochoa, 37, 3104 Hummingbird, Victoria, was booked at 5:35 p.m. March 5 for failure to appear. He was held without bond as of March 6.

Jose DeJesus Reyna, 27, 200 Roses, Roma, was booked at 7:59 p.m. March 5 for two counts of bond forfeiture.

Dayron L. Norman, 24, 3207 Blackshear, Wharton, was booked at 11:45 a.m. March 5 for capias pro fines. He was held on $839 in fines.

Stacy Lynn Shelton, 24, 808 Roberts, El Campo, was booked at 9:16 a.m. March 5 on warrants for debit card abuse. She was held on $20,000 bond as of March 6.

Billy Schooler, 21, 716 E. Caney, Wharton, was booked on March 4 for probation violation. He was held on $35,000 bond.

Jeffery Sawitski, 24, 2355 Austin Highway No. 801, San Antonio, was booked at 6:09 p.m. March 4 on three counts of bond forfeiture.

Shelicia Marie Hill, 22, Route 1 Box 53, Wharton, was booked on March 4 for engaging in organized criminal activity. She was released March 5 on $15,000 bond.

Miguel Angel Lopez (AKA Juan Ricardo), 30, 1121 Harrison, Sealy, was booked on March 4 on a warrant for bigamy. He was held on $10,000 bond as of March 6.

Mike Ramirez Jr., 21, 1410 Jennie St., El Campo, was booked at 4:30 p.m. March 4 for probation violation. He was held without bond as of March 6.

Jail population as of 12:30 p.m. Thursday was 97 prisoners.
