Jeannette McKellom

Funeral services for Jeannette McKellom, 65, of Missouri City, will be held at 1 p.m. today, Saturday, at First Baptist Church in Wharton.

Burial will follow at PinOak Community Cemetery in El Campo.

Visitation was held Friday at First Baptist Church.

Mrs. McKellom died March 3, 2008 at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in Houston.

She was born July 25, 1942 in Los Angeles, Calif., the daughter of Lawrence Hodson and Jeannette Winton.

She was a CNA until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters and by her husband.

Survivors include daughters, Debra Farlough of Missouri City, Bertha Washington and Jeannette Browne, both of Richmond; sons, Terry Perkins of Wharton and Thelton Perkins Jr. and Darryl Roy Perkins, both of Richmond.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home.
