Burglaries, thefts

Burglary of a vehicle - Reported at Country Hearth Inn, 1700 FM 102, Wharton, between 9:30 p.m. Tuesday and 8:15 a.m. Wednesday. Electric grinders valued at $300 were reported stolen.

Theft - Reported in the 1500 block of Connie Street, Wharton, between Feb. 11 and Monday.

Burglary of a habitation - Reported in the 1900 block of Newgulf Drive, Newgulf, between 5 p.m. Feb. 22 and 4 p.m. Feb. 23. A generator valued at $750 was reported stolen.

Assaults Class C assault - Reported in the 600 block of Correll Avenue, Wharton, at 7:08 p.m. Monday. Cleared and filed in Municipal Court.

Class A assault - Reported in the 200 block of North Outlar Street, Wharton, at 10:10 p.m. Sunday.

Aggravated assault - Two incidents reported on Texas 60, one-quarter mile north of CR 126, Wharton, between 11 p.m. and 11:37 p.m. Feb. 23.
