Rodeo Time Photo contributed by Elmer Cavender Milam Street was briefly overtaken by cowboys and horses recently as the Black History Trailriders of America began their journey toward the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. The group, comprised of Wharton County residents, headed out to Boling and then Needville to pick up other riders. Around 100 riders were expected to make the trek to Houston, which took about a week to complete.
