      An item in this past Saturday's Police Blotter apparently raised unnecessary concern among the Wharton business community. It stated that a theft had been reported at Harrison Real Estate Storage, 1717 N. Richmond Road, between Feb. 14 and Feb. 19, and that $1,500 worth of jewelry had been stolen...

Public records of persons booked into the Wharton County Jail
      Alcohol, drug charges Rusty A. Winzenried, 20, 636 CR 390, El Campo, was booked into Wharton County Jail Sunday for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and no driver's license. He was released at 4:30 p.m. Sunday on $11,000 bond.
