Chase Hillmann

Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Hillmann of East Bernard announce the birth of their second child, a boy, born at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2008, at Rice Medical Center.

The baby was named Chase Dalton and weighed 9 lbs.

He was welcomed home by his older brother Cody Dale.

Chase's maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. James Dusek of East Bernard and Mr. and Mrs. John Kopecky of Wallis, and the paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hillmann of East Bernard.

Great-grandparents are August Klecka and Gertrude Hillmann, both of East Bernard, and Jean Barnes of Temple.

Chase's mother is the former Donna Kay Kopecky.

Hunter Keprta

Jennifer Ann Giles and Mathew Brandon Keprta, both of Lane City, announce the birth of their child, a boy, born at 6:47 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008, at Gulf Coast Medical Center.

The baby was named Hunter Brandon Keprta and weighed 7 lbs., 13 ozs.

Hunter's maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Larry Giles of Hockley, and the paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Keprta of Lane City. Great-grandparent is Mildred Beisert of Montgomery.

Khaidence Bentancur

Kanosha Lamaye Griggs and Herman Lee Bentancur, both of Wharton, announce the birth of their child, a girl, born at 12:49 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008, at Gulf Coast Medical Center.

The baby was named Khaidence Ja'Khole Bentancur and weighed 6 lbs.

Khaidence's maternal grandparents are Waymond Allen and Doris Griggs, both of Wharton, and the paternal grandparent is Irene Bentancur of Wharton.

Great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Ottie Duffield, Francisco Bentancur and Billy Jackson, all of Wharton.
