Pooh and friends theme for Robert's birthday

Robert Bledsoe Jr., son of Robert Bledsoe Sr. and Cheena Coleman, celebrated his first birthday on Sept. 8 at Riverfront Park.

Each guest signed a Pooh and Friends book which included a guest list, birthday wishes and pictures of the past and present. All will be included in a time capsule to be opened when Robert turns 18.

The party menu consisted of spaghetti with meat balls, garlic bread and a tossed salad. Dessert was cake and ice cream. Games played were musical chairs, ring toss, duck-in-a-pond and doorprizes were also given away.

Special guests were Greatgrandmother Alice Baines and Grandmother Ruthie Allen.

A special Happy Birthday solo was sung by Chari Jackson.

Robert received a bouncing Tigger, Tigger in a fun tub, activity table, V-Tech sit and stand dancing table, bubble blowing lawn mower, clothes, birthday cards and more than $400 in cash as presents for his first birthday.
