Walker, Green reveal their wedding plans

Myra and Connell will say their vows here on March 29.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth W. Walker of Kendleton announce the engagement of their daughter Myra E. Walker of Kendleton to Connell D. Green of Wharton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Connell Green of Wharton.

Myra is the granddaughter of Eula Polk of New Iberia, La., and the late John Polk, and the late William and Elmira Walker, formerly of Kendleton.

Connell is the grandson of the late Amos and Pearline Green, formerly of Wharton, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Washington of El Campo and great-grandson of the late Pearline Jackson.

The wedding ceremony is planned for 4 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at St. James Baptist Church.

Myra is a 2002 graduate of Lamar Consolidated High School.

She is employed at Oak Bend Medical Center in Richmond.

Connell is a 2001 graduate of Wharton High School and is employed at Ran-Mar Sales and Service in Rosenberg.
