Briggs comes home to sing at Plaza

      El Campo native and singer songwriter Stephanie Briggs takes the Wharton Plaza Theatre stage Friday night for the second show in this year's concert series. "I hear there's a lot of excitement out there about the show," said Plaza Theatre show spokesman Candyce Byrne.

Shoppa's to sponsor free unplugged concert series

      Thanks to Roland Orsak from Shoppa's Farm Supply, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo goers will be treated to 15 nights of free Texas music. Beginning March 3 in the Reliant Center Exhibit Hall, Shoppa's booth will showcase some of Texas best singer-songwriters.
