Billy Baudry Billy Glenn Baudry, age 52, of Sugar Land and formerly of Louisiana, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2008 in a Houston hospital following a sudden illness. He was born on July 6, 1955 in Winnfield La., the son of the Linnie Bell Lavespere Baudry and the late Abner Lorenzo Baudry. Mr. Baudry had been a resident of Sugar Land since 1992 having formerly lived in Louisiana. He was joined in marriage to Antoinette Sue O'Dowd on June 10, 1978 in Colfax, La. Mr. Baudry graduated from Dryprong High School in Louisiana and attended Louisiana Tech. During his working career, he was employed as a draftsman for Walk, Haydel and Associates of Baton Rouge, Stone and Webster in Houston and Jacobs Engineering in Houston. Mr. Baudry enjoyed watching his children's sport activities, going fishing and hunting and working on cars in the garage. Following cremation, memorial services were held 10 a.m. Friday Feb. 22, 2008 at the Chapel of Wharton Funeral Home with Rev. Henry C. Rachunek officiating. Survivors include his wife Sue Baudry of Sugar Land; daughters, Jennifer Lynn Dulin and husband, David, and Cassandra Margaret Baudry, all of Sugar Land; son, John Lorenzo Baudry of Galveston; mother, Linnie Bell Baudry of Colfax, La.; sister, Cynthia Williams and husband, Richard of Spring; niece, Melissa Levy and husband, Dan, of Arizona and Gary Chellett and wife, Dana, of Spring; and special aunt, Margaret Zahn. In lieu of usual remembrances the family requests memorials to the Baudry Children Educational Fund c/o John and Cassandra Baudry, Goheen Financial Services, 16410 Kensington Dr., Sugar Land, TX 77479. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Wharton Funeral Home. |
