Burglaries, thefts

Theft - Reported by North Houston Pole Line at U.S. 59 and Texas 60, Wharton, between 8 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. Saturday. A box trailer was reported stolen.

Theft - Reported at Diamond Shamrock, 115 N. Richmond Road, Wharton, between 11:55 p.m. Thursday and 12:02 a.m. Friday.

Burglary of a vehicle - Reported in the 400 block of East Elm Street, Wharton, between 9 p.m. Thursday and 12:30 a.m. Friday. The case was closed.

Theft - Reported in the 1600 block of Camelia, Wharton, between 3 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday.

Theft - Reported by Central Turf in the 300 block of CR 107, Wharton, between 7 a.m. and 7:20 a.m. Thursday. Grass pallets valued at $300 were reported stolen.

Unlawful use of a motor vehicle - Theft - Reported by Central Turf in the 300 block of CR 107, Wharton, between 7 a.m. and 7:20 a.m. Thursday.

Burglary of a vehicle - Reported at Sweetwater Apartments, 101 Barclay Ave., Wharton, between 9:30 p.m. Feb. 12 and 5 a.m. Feb. 13. A stereo valued at $100 was reported stolen.

Burglary of a building - Reported at Southern Select Nut Co., 1113 N. Fulton St., Wharton, between 3 p.m. Feb. 11 and 8:30 a.m. Feb. 12. Currency and coins valued at $331 were reported stolen.

Assaults

Class A assault - Reported at the Kingston Apartments, 1301 Kingston Drive, Wharton, at 5:45 p.m. Saturday.

Class A assault - Reported in the 300 block of Correll Avenue, Wharton, on Thursday. Cleared by arrest.

Aggravated assault - Reported at Primo's, 146 S. Richmond Road, Wharton, between 5:15 p.m. and 5:19 p.m. Thursday.
