Pearline Jackson

Funeral services for Pearline Jackson, 97, of Wharton, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James Baptist Church with Rev. B.B. Willis officiating. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery.

Mrs. Jackson died Feb. 13, 2008 at Wharton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Dec. 25, 1910 in El Campo to Tom and Lucinda McDonald Francis.

Survivors include sons, Raymond Shanklin and Oscar Williams, both of Wharton; daughters, Corine Jones of Wharton and Shirley Austin of Houston; 30 grandchildren, 63 greatgrandchildren and 19 greatgreat grandchildren.
